Description
Colloidal silver is a liquid made of tiny particles of pure silver suspended in distilled water. It is mostly used on the skin, for example on minor cuts and irritated spots, and some people also take small amounts by mouth. Double Wood Colloidal Silver is 20 PPM, giving 20mcg of silver in each 1ml dropper.

How to take it
The maker suggests 1 dropperful (1ml) a day by mouth, and no more than 2 teaspoons a day. If taking it by mouth, take at least 1 week off for every 2 weeks of use. For the skin, apply a few drops to the area.
Good to know
Taking silver by mouth regularly over a long time can cause argyria, a permanent blue-grey colouring of the skin, so do not exceed the dose and do not use it long term. Colloidal silver is not a substitute for antibiotics or medical treatment. It can reduce the absorption of some antibiotics and thyroid medicine. Not for children, or for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Speak to our pharmacist before using it by mouth.
