Description
Double Wood Serrapeptase provides 120,000 SPU (serrapeptase units) of serrapeptase in each capsule. Serrapeptase is a proteolytic enzyme, an enzyme that breaks down proteins, originally discovered in silkworms and now produced by natural fermentation.
What it is used for

How to take it
Follow the directions on the label. Enzyme supplements like serrapeptase are usually taken on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before or 2 hours after a meal, with a glass of water.
Good to know
Serrapeptase may increase the risk of bleeding. Do not take it with blood-thinning medicines (such as warfarin, clopidogrel or daily aspirin), in the two weeks before surgery or dental procedures, or if you have a bleeding disorder. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Research in people is still limited, so speak to one of our pharmacists before use, especially if you take other medicines.
