Description
DHEA is made by your adrenal glands and acts as a raw material for your sex hormones. Levels peak in your mid-20s and drop by roughly half by middle age. Some adults use DHEA to support energy, mood, libido and general vitality, and fertility specialists sometimes recommend it for certain women with low egg reserve. Because DHEA is a hormone, it works best and most safely when you know your levels. We recommend a DHEA-S blood test before you start, and a chat with our pharmacist.
Why people choose it
- Supports healthy hormone balance in men and women
- Supports energy, mood and vitality
- A gentle 25mg dose, the strength most often used
- Four months’ supply in each bottle
How to take it
Take 1 capsule a day with a meal, or as directed by your healthcare professional. Do not take more than the recommended amount.
